Last updated: 11 August 2026.
Editorial purpose
Clayline Egypt is an independent English-language journal about ceramic form, surface, museum records and respectful workshop observation. It is not a museum, archaeological authority, workshop, school, shop, conservator, authenticator or representative of any maker.
No sales or valuation service
The site does not sell objects, arrange commissions, book classes, provide valuations or certify authenticity, date, origin, material or condition. Decisions about acquisition, export, conservation or legal status require responsible professional and official advice.
No permission to enter or handle
A photograph or article does not establish that a workshop, collection or object is publicly accessible. Viewing, photography, handling and publication remain subject to current owner, maker, museum and legal conditions. Obtain specific permission and follow instructions.
Accuracy and availability
Reasonable care is taken to preserve source boundaries and exact image credits. Information can still become incomplete or outdated, and pages may be corrected, moved or withdrawn. No guarantee is made that a general observation is suitable for a specific object.
Images and reuse
The editorial text may not be republished as another publisher’s original work. Photographs carry separate creator and Creative Commons terms beside their use and on the sources page. Reusers must consult each original file page and comply with its licence.

Acceptable use
Visitors may read and link to public pages for lawful purposes. They must not misrepresent affiliation, use the journal as permission to access or handle objects, interfere with service or remove attribution contrary to an image licence.
